ACDS works with middle school families to facilitate the high school admissions process and find the best school for each student. Mr. Girard, Assistant Head of School for Placement and Programs, helps families research and evaluate the various options in public, independent, and parochial schools. He and the other middle school advisors also prepare the students for their high school visits and interviews.
Parents should begin planning when the student reaches 7th grade. You may review the timeline only, or for more information, please refer to the High School Placement Guide below.
The attached High School Placement Guide outlines all aspects of the process including testing, timelines, questions to consider, and financial aid information.
